Again an accusation song, slow faster slow... typical storytelling.
Anyone can complain, but over time nobody listens anymore.
5 Shark Bite
Rocking beginning, rocking middle, rocking end, still not a club hit

Catchy chorus, otherwise successful, loud, quiet, fast, slow, everything is there.

nice and slow, very nice, basically an acoustic version
10 Judas Is A Riot
So I don't start much with the song. He probably wants to tell his story, but the speed ups and breaks are too banal for me.

Bush, da fallen mir nur zwei Dinge ein, erstens Machinehead aus 1994 und dann dass Gavin Rossdale mir Gwen Stefani weggeschnappt hatte.
Aber hier geht es ja um die neue „Platte“, okay, auf neudeutsch — um den neuen Release.

Ob dies die beste Wahl als erster Song gereiht zu sein, sei mal dahingestellt.
Mit über 5 Minuten Laufzeit… holprig.

Flott geht’s dahin. Meiner Meinung eher der „Single“ Kandidat

Er kann ja singen, wenn er will, leider viel zu selten, aber hier eine gute Mischung aus Sprechgesang, also herunter Text lesen, und dann den Refrain singen.
Eingängig und wurde wohl deshalb als „Single“ ausgekoppelt.
4 May Your Love Be Pure
Wiedermal ein An-Klage Lied, langsam schneller langsam … das typische Geschichten erzählen.
Klagen kann jeder, aber mit der Zeit hört dann keiner mehr hin.

rockiger Beginn, rockige Mitte, rockiges Ende, trotzdem kein Clubhit
6 Human Sand
rockiger Beginn, rockige Mitte, rockiges Ende, oh hatten wir doch schon, zack so schnell sind manche Songs vergessen

Eingängiger Refrain, auch sonst gelungen, laut leise schnell langsam, alles da.

Der Refrain kommt zu oft, okay, vielleicht sagt er so gerne Whore, aber es wird mit der Zeit öde

nice and slow, sehr nett, im Grunde eine Akustikversion

Also mit dem Lied fange ich nicht viel an. Er will wohl seine Geschichte erzählen aber die Speed ups und Breaks sind mir zu banal.

Also hier bin ich zwiegespalten, wären nicht die zwei abgedroschenen Phrasen vor den Refrains, ihr kommt schon darauf welche ich meine, wäre der Song recht gelungen.
12 1000 Years
Würdiger Abschluss, angenehmes Ausklingen, verdammt ich muss mir den Song nochmal reinziehen.
Vier von Zwölf sind zum Wiederhören recht geeignet, aber das Album wird sicher nicht als bestes Bush-Werk in die Annalen der Musik eingehen.
